This early morning, I watched the t.v show “Maayong Buntag Kapamilya.” One of the current issues they reported was about the effects to people who stay long in front of the television and computer. The guest optometrist explained how it would affect our eyes and she also gave some healthy tips to the viewers.

According to the optometrist, Computer Vision Syndrome is becoming more frequent. This tells that prolonged use of electronic devices such as computers can leave users with problems such as dry eye, eye strain, neck and back aches, light sensitivity and fatigue.
Now here are some tips of avoiding eye problems: Screens with anti-glare coating, and having other lights in the room on are great ways of avoiding eye fatigue. The computer screen must be placed above your eyes a little, this will make you look higher and will do wonders for you and your back too, it will thank you twice since it reduces the pressure your back has to support. You need a good desk and a good chair to maintain the optimal position all the time. And try taking such visual breaks for about five to 10 minutes every hour.
As a blogger who spends most of my time in computers, I should maintain good eye health. Eye care is very essential to maintain the health of our eyes. Health is more important than money.
